Core Process Psychotherapy

Core Process Psychotherapy is a mindfulness based approach to exploring our present experience.

It acknowledges that, at the core of our being, we are inherently healthy and whole.

This gentle enquiry recognises the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual expressions of our being.

The therapeutic relationship is what supports and enables resolution and personal growth.

What does it offer?

  • a confidential opportunity to talk in depth
  • an experienced therapist who listens respectfully and actively
  • support for you to develop awareness and understanding about yourself and
  your experiences
  • encouragement to explore how you might resolve difficulties and make lasting
  changes.

When might it be useful?

The decision to begin therapy is fundamentally a choice for things to change, a bid for greater understanding and a desire for personal growth.

The life experiences that therapy responds to include:

  • challenging relationships • difficult or stuck feelings
  • loss and bereavement • unresolved trauma
  • low mood, anxiety, stress • life-stage transitions
  • demanding circumstances and events • the desire to be freer, more true to
  ourselves.
How to begin – the next step

A free initial meeting is the next step. In it we will clarify what your particular needs might be and how it might be to work together.

Sessions are weekly and last an hour. This therapy service is available in both Leominster and Hereford.

Rachel Morgan is a psychotherapist registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy and is listed in the Counselling and Psychological Therapists Register, Herefordshire Primary Care Trust. She also offers supervision and facilitates training.
